For a student, finding a place to sleep could be a thing of the past at Mesa State College.
The college is building a new three-hundred person dorm. Demolition started on a portion of land on North avenue near the college.
The four-story dorm will house mainly incoming freshmen and sophomores. Which are required to live on campus by college regulations. Last fall Mesa state had to house some students at a hotel because of overcrowding.
Officials say the dorm should be finished by next July.
