The U.S. Navy Leap Frog Team jumped down to the Country Jam Ranch to celebrate Military Appreciation Day.

The team skydived down to the Ranch, at times bombing downward at speeds up to sixty miles per hour!

Among the jump team is Grand Junction native John Murray.

Murray is a graduate of Grand Junction High School and says his jump was a great homecoming.

Murray's family and friends were out at the Ranch to watch him make the leap.

His mother says at every jump, she's always nervous, but she can't help but watch and be proud of her son.
