Prius Goes Green
A new feature for Toyota's popular Prius Hybrid could have drivers beaming as they consume even less energy.
A Japanese newspaper says Toyota plans to rig the new Prius models with solar panels in the roof to run the car's air conditioning. Those panels could generate up to five kilowatts of green solar power.
The Prius would be the first mass produced auto to use solar power to support a major feature.
