The new i-phone 3G hit stores Friday. The AT&T store in Grand Junction opened early to accommodate lines that formed around the store the night before.
Customers who hadn't made it into town by noon missed out on getting their new phone Friday. Grand Junction was only one of several stores in Colorado that had the phones in store. People who missed their chance could order one, however they would have to return to the store to activate the new i-phone 3G.
