Nails Spilled Along Six Mile Stretch of Interstate 70

A semi truck loses part of it’s load on Interstate 70 and what the truck was carrying caused some problems for motorists along the way.

Nails were spilled along a six mile stretch of Interstate 70, closing the one lane of eastbound traffic for 6 hours. A Colorado Department of Transportation plow and brush truck swept up the nails, but not before 12 vehicles got flat tires from the spilled load.

The driver was stopped at the horizon drive
