Cost of The Grand Complex Goes up Again
The cost to contain the Grand Complex, which includes the Coal Creek Fire and Clover Fire, is on the rise.
The cost estimate as has reached $606,000. Officials first estimated the cost at $300 an acre and eventhough the fires haven't grown the price has gone up.
On Wednesday crews continued efforts to monitor and secure fire lines on the northwest flank along Kannah Creek.
The Kannah Creek Basin and all trails within the area remain closed.
