A Grand Junction man is booked into the Mesa County Jail, arrested for sexual assault on a ten year old girl.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect, Eric Mills, 29, was arrested Friday night after the young victim came forward and told her mother what happened

The victim told her mother Mills touched her inappropriately, and forced her to do the same to him.

Mills was also wanted on an unrelated warrant.

He is now facing sexual assault on a child with force, and sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

11 News is choosing not to release any other details to protect the identity of the young victim.

Bond for Mills has not yet been set.
