Around 10:30p.m.Tuesday night a car collided with a bicycle.

The accident happened at the intersection of 28th and Patterson Rd. The driver immediately called police to tell them what happened but when officers arrived on scene no one was there.

They called the driver back who told police that she had put the bike in her car and gave the biker a ride home. Police then proceeded to the biker's house to get more information, and to make sure both the driver and the biker were okay.

Neither one of them suffered any serious injuries. The crash did bend one of the wheels on the bike, but the driver did tell police that she will pay for a replacement wheel.
