Former Central High Coach Matt Lindholm plead guilty to one count of attempted sex assault on a child by a person in a position of trust as part of a plea deal.

As part of the plea deal, Lindholm will have to register as a sex offender and faces 5 years probation.

Lindholm is charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child. The resigned teacher and coach is accused of kissing and hugging a student in the coach's office at Central High.

In June, Lindholm's lawyer asked a judge to have his GPS tracking device taken off because of good behavior. But a statement read to the court from the victim said she feels safer knowing he is under surveillance.

Lindholm's request was denied.
