A Clifton man is rushed to the hospital after the jeep he was working on rolled over him.
Just after 11:00am Saturday, eyewitnesses say a man was doing some work on his jeep at his Prairie Way home, when the gears shifted and it drove on top of him.
"We just heard screaming and I looked over and the car had run into the house," said Amy Rodriguez, who watched the accident happen. "We didn't react right away because we were in shock."
Rodriguez says she and other neighbors rushed over to the driveway, jumped in the jeep to turn it off, and helped push if off of the man.
They say because the car was on, the tires spun across the man's feet, leaving him badly injured.
They say he was alert when the ambulance arrived, but was very pale and cold from shock.
His condition is unknown at this time.
