Suspected Child Molester Arrested in Grand Junction

A new castle man wanted on several counts of sexual assault on a child was arrested in Grand Junction early this morning.

Last week, the Garfield County Sheriff's office sent out a bulletin asking for the public's help to track down 41 year old Ronald Gray, who deputies had been looking for since June.

Officials say a call from a citizen led the Grand Junction Police Department to the 1600 block of North Avenue at around 1:00 this morning, where Gray was arrested.

They say Gray was wanted on one count of sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse, one count of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust, and three counts of enticement of a child.

Authorities say they hope to have him back in Garfield County by Monday evening.
