Sheriff's Office Needs Help IDing Suspected Check Thieves
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is looking to the public for help in identifying several individuals who passed checks that had been stolen in a recent burglary of a residence.
At two different times on May 31, 2008, three suspects entered the Wal-Mart on North Avenue and passed two stolen checks. One of the suspects has been identified but the remaining two have not been. If you recognize the male or the female who is alone, please contact Investigator M. Piechota at 970-244-3260 or call Crimestoppers at 241-STOP (7867).
