Police were forced to taser a uncooperative man late Wednesday night.

The man was trying to pick a fight with someone near Weaver's Tavern on N 1st St. Police just happened to be driving by and noticed the out of control male. When police came toward the man and asked him to calm down, the man then came after them.

To get him to back off police used a taser. They took the man to St. Mary's Hospital to be checked out, before taking him to jail.
