GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Main Street is about to get a lot busier starting Thursday as the annual Farmers' Market kicks off in Downtown Grand Junction.
The signature summer event showcases farm products from the Western Slope and Colorado. The event stretches from 3rd to 7th on Main Street.
This year the Farmers' Market will be starting later, at 5:30 p.m. and running until 8:30 p.m. Officials say they made the changes because they feel most people like to come to the market after the peak heat of the day. Patrons may also see some changes in the layout of the festival.
Lookout for freebies, reusable Downtown Grand Junction shopping bags packed with coupons and information about downtown businesses will be handed out throughout the summer.
