Single Car Accident
An overnight crash sends a woman into the median near an on–ramp to interstate 70, and then she leaves the scene.
21 year old Kayla Calhoon was heading south on 24 rd. and hit concrete barrier in the round about, blocking the on–ramp to I–70.
Police say she fled the scene but later returned. A witness said they saw her walking the highway by herself.
Calhoon suffered minor injures, an ambulance on scene checked her out and determined that she didn't need to go to the hospital.
She has been cited for DUI, careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia.
