A man accused of attempting to assault two young girls Wednesday night is still on the loose.

The assault happened at Monument Village Townhomes in Orchard Mesa, just after 3:00p.m. Wednesday.

Police say they are looking for: a white or Hispanic male, last seen wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans, and cowboy boots. A neighbor told police two ten year old girls were approached by the man described, and one of those girls told police that the man tried to touch her.

Right after the report came in police had created a perimeter around the area but broke it after they couldn't find the man. Now they are searching throughout the city, and they’re asking for help, if you have any information you are urged to call the anonymous crime stoppers line at 241-stop.

This isn't the first time an incident like this has happened at that address. In May a 9 year old girl was kidnapped from out in front of the complex. She is safe now and the assailant is behind bars.
