Volunteer Tutors Needed for At Risk Kids

Now that school is back in session, the Meth Task Force's Drug Endangered Children/Prevention Comittee is getting ready to roll out it's new tutoring program for at-risk youth and is looking for volunteers.

The Meth Task Force believes that individual tutoring helps kids in difficult home situations be prepared to succeed as adults.

Free Training is available for interested volunteers is Wednesday, September 24th from noon to 1pm at the old County Courthouse at 544 Rood Ave. It will take place in training room B on the third floor. Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP by September 17th to 244-1885 or janet.rowland@mesacounty.us.
