With the Democratic National Convention over and done, and the Republicans in the midst of their own, Election 08 fever is spreading across the country, including this weekend's Club 20 fall meeting at the Two Rivers Convention Center.

The two-day event will feature presentations on the more than a dozen ballot initiatives Colorado residents will be voting on this November, as well as speeches from candidates running in state elections.

It all leads to the main event Saturday night, where attendees will hear from Republican U.S. Representative candidate Wayne Wolf, and watch U.S. Senate candidates Mark Udall and Bob Schaffer debate.

"During an election year, Club 20 is proud to be the center stage for Western Colorado's political universe," said Reeves Brown, Executive Director for Club 20.

The main even is open to the public, but costs $10 to get in.
