Grand Junction Police Street Crimes Unit believe they have the GJ Scores' robber in custody.
The arrest happened Friday night at 2938 North Ave. Street Crimes officers say Charles Rutz was responsible for the armed robber at GJ Scores bowling alley last Friday evening.
Grand Junction Police say a warrant was issued for the arrest of Rutz. Street Crimes Officers spotted Rutz's white Toyota Tundra driving at the intersection of 31 1/2 Road and F Road. Police say the suspected escape vehicle was a white Toyota Tundra. Street Crime Officers followed Rutz a few miles until they pulled him over on North Avenue.
Rutz was taken into custody by police at around 7:30 Friday evening. After being questioned by police Rutz will be transported to the Mesa County Jail.
