$1 Million Bond for Father Facing Murder Charges in Son's Death
51–year–old Allen Lee Grabe faced a judge for the first time on Friday afternoon. He is now being held on a $1 million bond in the Mesa County Jail.
Investigators arrested him on charges of child abuse resulting in death and first degree murder in the death of his teenage son Jacob on Thursday night.
Grabe requested a public defender to represent him but said nothing else during his court appearance via video conference from the jail on Friday.
He is scheduled to appear in court again next week.
