I've known Allen for several years, indeed something must have snapped that brought him to this mental state. In the past he had talked about having a troubled household with extended family matters being involved, but never concluding a resolve to this magnitude. Allen loved his son, if his wife was the troubling cause, why didn't he shoot her instead? (Not that I mean harm to anyone). I wonder what Allen meant when he said: "you're ruining him." What was Mrs. Grabe doing to the child that drove Mr. Grabe to such an extreme reaction? Is there any fault to be found by the actions of Mrs. Grabe as to possible child neglect and or abuse? Could it be argued that she pulled the trigger too, long before Allen reached for the real thing? I have raised several special needs kid-o's, it's tough at times, but never thought of ending the difficulties to Mr. Grabes' considerations. So has anybody asked, what was the driving actions of Mrs. Grabe that drove Allen’s reactions? What was Mrs. Grabe doing to their son that was ruining him?

I think Jeremy is an ass. I have an autistic granddaughter. Yes we live in a troubled world, but this...person...for lack of a better word, blatantly shot his autistic son in the face, several times. There are no "facts to get." He gave them all right then. He made the facts known when he was waiting for the police on his porch and said "I give up." He knew he had committed murder. He is honestly a waste of time, space and energy. I don't know how the judicial system works out in Grand Junction, but in my opinion, you shouldn't waste your jail space on this waste of sperm and egg. He should be put to death. In my opinion, the Bible sets the best example with "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." He should die the same way he killed his son, but we, as a whole, are too civilized of a society too resort to that.

Andrea, Im sorry for that, let me retract my statement and call Jeremy Nuts, MURDER IS MURDER, If you think it is any thing else, your probably either on the drugs or one of the perverts and Grand Junction does not need your type here

I think we live in a area of unusual and unexpected events. If it's not the drugs it's the sexual perverts in the valley. This man is one that is neither. As much as this is a tragic situation'it is one of the few situations that does not involve sex or drugs. But s*** does happen, and even though we know who did it,we should be careful to judge this man before we get all the facts.
