Traffic backed up during rush hour yesterday when a logging truck rolled over spilling its contents. Dozens of logs still lined the interstate this morning.
The logging truck rolled off the road around rush hour last night causing significant delays for those going west. The logs spilled and rolled into a trucker's rest area on the side of the road.
Officials say it is lucky that no one was parked in the rest area when the logs were thrown about. Crews had all the logs pushed off the road and out of the rest area parking lot by nine pm.
The driver was cited for unsafe equipment. No one was injured.
