Thousands of eyes were on the sky this weekend as the Western Colorado Air Show 2008 put on quite a display.
Fans came out to the three day event to watch pilots with amazing talent and precision cut across the wide blue skies of Grand Junction.
The Western Colorado Air Show 2008 jetted into town on Friday and after three days of incredible piloting, showmanship and military power, is set to go just as fast as it came in.
Among all of the performers, the show boasted the speed and force of F-15's and -16's, the power and precision of Fat Albert, the jumping excitement of the U.S. Army Golden Knights, and taking you right into the danger zone: the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
The show pleased fans young and old, bringing back memories for some, and creating new ones for another generation.
Air show performers say they do it all in honor of the brave men and women who defend our great country.
