Driver Crashes into Police Car

A driver led police on a pursuit late Sunday night, and crashed his van into an Officer's patrol car.

Police received a call from Old Chicago saying a man was causing trouble. Officers spotted the man leaving and followed him. According to police the man was driving so reckless, that he was impossible to pull over.

While searching for the man, one of the officers turned down orchard, and spotted him driving in wrong lane. The officer pulled up to the vehicle, and the man backed into the front of the officer's car, then took off again.

According to police the man ditched his car in an alley off North Avenue and went back to Old Chicago. Officers finally tracked him down and were able to arrest him. He is being held on suspicion of DUI, hit and run, and reckless driving.
