We're now getting a better look at the serial burglar wanted in seven smash and grab burglaries at Grand Junction convenience stores. Investigators released a piece of surveillance video on Tuesday.

Investigators say the suspect has been smashing in doors, stealing cigarettes and making a quick escape.

Grand Junction Police are on the lookout for the suspect and they have few details about his appearance because of what he wears during his raids, but they're hoping surveillance tape will stir up more leads.

The video is a ten second clip from the Fruita co–op store hit earlier this month. In the video you can see the burglar come into the side of the screen, rummage around, then dressed in black with a ski mask, leaves with a black garbage bag.

Police say he's been stealing more than a thousand dollars worth of cigarettes in each case.

That detail is what helped them link four burglaries earlier this month with the three we told you about Monday.

Police say the suspect is a white male, about six–feet tall, 175 pounds and believe he's working alone.

Investigators continue to look into a similar smash and grabe burglary with stolen cigarettes out of Eagle County; they think it may be related.

If you have any information call Crimestoppers at 241–STOP.
