Many Mesa County republicans are ecstatic thanks to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's Vice Presidential debate performance.

After a tough go of it with the national media, doubts surfaced about Palin's ability to lead, but she came out with guns blazing.

Palin battled tough talking points, and was easily able to wrap around to her key issues showing no problems with inexperience as many had feared.

After watching the debate, local republicans called her a strong and refreshing candidate with poise and appeal, and said her greenness is just another attraction as the new maverick on the front.

It amazing how many Republicans are still proud of the Mcain/Palin ticket. Your future is a stake here and yet you are still willing to waste you’re vote on 2 people who couldn't possibly be more un-qualified. Get it together people and start seeing them for what they are. They have made it painfully obvious that they are not ready to be President and vice-president. I'm praying for those willing to risk everything America has stood for by voting for definite destruction.

Not being a member of any party I need to say this "God help us if Palin would ever succeed anyone"!
