School District 51 hopes that a new after school program will help students that have trouble with math and reading.

Students whom the school feels need help with those subjects will meet for about an hour after school in smaller classes.
The students will have regular assessments to bring all students up to par.
Students that consistently show that they need extra help will be considered for this program.

The program should be implemented in the second quarter of this school year.
