The Grand Junction Police Department is investigating the death of a woman in her thirties, whose body was found on a bench in Emerson Park this morning. Just after 5am, a person in the park flagged down a passing sheriff’s deputy and reported the woman’s death.
Officials say that there are no obvious signs of foul play and the investigation is on going.
The woman’s identity will be revealed once the woman’s family has been notified.
