Chestnut Drive resident Paco Larson continues to recover at home Sunday, after being shot while trying to help the other victims Saturday morning.

He tells 11 News he is doing well, all things considered.

Larson did not want to speak on camera Sunday, but did have a few brief things to say about the tragic events that took place in his neighborhood.

"Our prayers and best wishes go out to the Fines and the Gallaghers," said Larson.

Larson says he's proud to do have done what he did, and that it was something he thinks any other person in his position would have done.

Larson was transported to the hospital Saturday morning, but was released hours later.
