The Grand Junction Police Department has released more information about the Saturday’s deadly shooting.
On the morning of Friday, October 10, 2008, a relative, whom Stefan Martin-Urban had been living with, reported him missing to Lakewood Police. On October 2nd, he purchased the handgun used in the shootings at Green Mountain Guns in Lakewood.
A receipt found in the vehicle Martin-Urban was driving shows that he purchased gas at an area convenience store Friday morning. They also found a receipt showing that he purchased food at a restaurant in Green River, UT at about 8 pm on Friday.
Police are also looking at the possibility that Martin-Urban’s vehicle followed the Gallagher’s from the area near their home to the Chestnut address. This is based on statements from Michael Gallagher. Officials say that they don’t know why Martin-Urban may have been following them.
Officals are urging anyone with information about Martin-Urban or his dark green Honda CRV, to call 970-244-3755
