Slain Dentist's Office Closed Monday, Staff Mourning Loss

Dr. Terry Fine was a well known and respected dentist, who owned his own practice on Patterson Road. In light of the tragedy over the weekend, his office was closed Monday.

His office released the following statement:

"The staff and families of Fine & Naranja Family Dentistry are deeply saddened by Saturday's tragic loss of our beloved colleague and friend, Dr. Terry Fine. Dr. Fine provided a profound and lasting impact to the people of Grand Junction, spending the last 25 years caring for thousands of people in our Grand Valley. Dr. Terry Fine was a true mentor, friend, and professional to all who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Fine and Gallagher families. We understand that there are many thoughts and prayers you want to share. The staff and family of Dr. Fine are grateful for your support. We respectfully request privacy to grieve the loss of Dr. Fine. This privacy will be greatly appreciated."

Fine & Naranja Family Dentistry will reopen for normal business Tuesday morning.
