Alaskan Governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be in Grand Junction on Monday October 20th.

Palin will be speaking at Suplizio Field Monday evening. Doors to the event will open at 4:00pm and the program will begin at 6:00pm; according to the McCain Campaign.

To attend you need to do two things. First, you need to RSVP to the event. You can do that by clicking on the link below the story, or by calling the McCain Campaign's Colorado Office at (303) 952-4670. Campaign officials say this is only so they can gage how many people will attend the event and make seating adjustments. No tickets, passes, or anything like that will be issued.

Two, you need to show up at Suplizio Field. Campaign officials want to remind you entry to the event is first-come, first-serve. They say just because you filled out the RSVP form, it does not mean you are guaranteed a spot. Therefore, people who want to attend are encouraged to arrive at Suplizio Field early.

11 News will stream Governor Palin's speech live right here on our web channel, and broadcast it live on digital channel 11-2.

Debbie and Ellsworth are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT...the election is NOT over. Bush was in trouble in 2000, but won and look where we are now. I am sure the Obama campaign will finish the job and not let up a bit. As Obama said the other day, supporters need to "remember New Hampshire," when Clinton surprised Obama in the primary there.

The liberal media has written John and Sarah off. I feel that this is over anxiously premature. This is a spiritual battle and if prayer is made by God's people from earnest and believing hearts, I do believe that God will answer our request. Sarah has the courage and inner moral strength that trully represents the values of most middle-American people. If Obama is elected, with his emphasis on taxes and income redistribution and abortion, our country will never ever be the same again. I pray that people will even in these last days open their eyes and see the possible American tragedy coming and change their mind (vote).

I don't believe it's clear WHO will be the next President, and I'm honored to get to hear this strong, confident woman speak. She's a credit to her country. I don't smell defeat and I wouldn't write McCain-Palin off yet!

Dems, you fools! The amount of spending that Barack Hussein Obama is promising is going to make Bush look like a fiscal conservative!!

Well, now that Obama is clearly going to be the next President of the United States, McCain (as Don Quixote) and his side-kick Palin (Sancho Panza) decided to pay a visit to our small and mostly republican town. I am not surprised as the smell of defeat surrounds them. All you hate mongers enjoy the end of this ludicrous and unreasonable ride that you have supported the last 8 years. For a new and better man is going lead us into a improved, superior and healthier future.
