Meth Lab Busted in Whitewater

The Western Colorado Drug Task Force is investigating a Whitewater home.

Authorities found what they believed to be a meth lab under construction at 2945 Kannah Creek Road. In an arrest affidavit officials say they found all the typical materials needed to produce methamphetamine and meth itself.

Saturday morning the Colorado Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the home after a suspicious situation led investigators to the residence. Officials say they discovered chemicals, plastic bottles, and other meth making materials in several tool boxes.

Authorities say three suspects have been taken into custody in connection to the investigation. Sally Smith, Kelly Patterson, and Lisa Lambert were all transported to the Mesa County Jail. As of Saturday afternoon no bond has been set.
