Passerby’s may notice a few extra decorations around the Mesa County Libraries Central Branch; and they're not for Halloween, it's construction equipment.

The library is making some exterior improvements and the agenda consists of landscaping, lighting, and sprucing up its signs. The library says that this project supports “its promise to attract a diverse range of Mesa County residents into the library's comfortable and welcoming places.”

The construction done by PNCI Construction, Inc. is expected to last through November.
