The seemingly never ending battle between Rum Bay and Mesa County may have just been concluded.

The Mesa County Commissioners had put extra stipulations on Rum Bay after reports of unruly activity at the nightclub in recent months. The most recent violations including simulated sex acts have proven to be the last straw.

In the agreement Rum Bay agrees to suspend its liquor license effective this Thursday. Rum bay will be able to transfer the existing liquor license to a company without any liquor law violations if the business is sold.

A public hearing is scheduled at next weeks County Commissioner's meeting on October 27th.
