After standing on North Avenue for over six hours on Saturday several blue star moms say they have only been able to collect just over $50 and no donations.

For the "stuff the truck" donation drive, the mothers stood in front of Ed Bozarth Chevrolet hoping to collect items to send to troops overseas. One mom says she usually sees an outpouring from the community,
but no such luck today.

Blue Star Mother Wendy Hoffman says, "this last month it just seems like its gotten really quiet so whether this is the economy or what is like the generosity isn't quite the same as it was previously."

Several people did stop, but at the end of the day the truck was empty.
