If you wanted to write in “Bruce Springsteen” or “Mickey Mouse” on the ballot, this year there's only one race that's eligible for write in votes - US senate.

While voting electronically when you get to that race an option will be available and you can type in any of the three candidates names. If you type in any other name, that vote will not count.

There are three certified candidates for that senate seat. Two are unaffiliated – Gary Cooper and Buddy Moore - and one is with the Green Party – Bruce Lohmiller.
