The City of Grand Junction is trying to clear the books of nearly 1,500 outstanding warrants.

For the next two weeks, those with outstanding warrants can have a portion of the warrant costs waived if they pay their fine in full.

The warrants were issued for people who missed court appearances, did not pay fines or ignored court orders.

The city has given us 98 names chosen at random from the list of those with outstanding warrants.

If you don't see your name on the list but think you have an outstanding warrant, check with city hall from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

City hall is located at 250 North 5th Street.
