The third phase of construction on the Ranchmen's Ditch Flood Control project will begin November 3rd.

The contractor will begin staging equipment for the project Monday night and the actual work will begin Tuesday night. Workers will be laying pipe under Patterson Road between 25 1/2 and 1st Street.

Work will go on from 8:00 PM to Six AM and during that time traffic will be limited to one lane both east and westbound in the work zone. The following week the work will be moved to the area just west of 24 ½ Road.

On the other side of town, residents of Glade Park and those who live along Little Park Road will have to take a few detours in order to get into town. The bridge on Monument Road over the Redlands Water Power Canal is scheduled to be replaced, the work will begin on November 3rd.

The new bridge will be wider to accommodate pedestrian traffic and to straighten out the bridge alignment. Detour will be to use Highway 340 to South Broadway and South Camp Road. When that project is completed construction will then begin on the bridge on "D" Road over No Thoroughfare Wash.
