Also shortly after 12:00 a.m. the Grand Junction Fire Department was called out to a fire burning in a dumpster, and they found a body inside.

The dumpster is located in the 500 block of pitkin avenue. When fire fighters arrived they quickly extinguished the flames, but when they looked inside the dumpster, they found the body of a male.

The man was pronounced dead, and his body was badly burned. The exact cause of death, and identity of the person, is not yet known.

As regards the Online News Poll, as a point of flag history, hanging the US flag upside down is not considered offensive. While the U.S. Flag Code does permit flying the flag with the union down, it specifies only "...as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property." This was the practice in the pre-1900's, on the high seas by military and merchant marine vessels alike, but has taken on another connotation in today's political environment.
