Lizzie and her family came into the 11 News studios for a live interview on 11 News Today campaigning for votes in a national contest.

Amber Martinez is Lizzie’s owner and she says that her mother spotted the Milk-Bone photo contest on the back of a box of bones, and suggested that she enter Lizzie. It proved to be a good idea, out of over 6,000 entries the photo of Lizze and her “sister” Destiny is now one of 100 finalists in the contest.

Milk-Bone is holding the contest to celebrate their 100th anniversary. The winning dog will be come the first ever SpokesDog for Milk-Bone and earn a $100,000 contract. The 99 runners-up will receive a digital camera so they can catch more “Milk Bone moments.”

To help Lizzie and her family win they need your vote. Click the link below this story to be directed to the contest page. The photo of Lizzie and Destiny is on the second page, and the photo you will see before clicking on it looks like the one above this story.
