Lizzie and her family came into the 11 News studios for a live interview on 11 News Today campaigning for votes in a national contest.
Amber Martinez is Lizzie’s owner and she says that her mother spotted the Milk-Bone photo contest on the back of a box of bones, and suggested that she enter Lizzie. It proved to be a good idea, out of over 6,000 entries the photo of Lizze and her “sister” Destiny is now one of 100 finalists in the contest.
Milk-Bone is holding the contest to celebrate their 100th anniversary. The winning dog will be come the first ever SpokesDog for Milk-Bone and earn a $100,000 contract. The 99 runners-up will receive a digital camera so they can catch more “Milk Bone moments.”
