Cinema at the Avalon to Close November 13th
Cinema at the Avalon will show its last film on November 13th. The Cinema would have been open for five years later this month. Board members say they couldn't come to an agreement with the city that they could afford, so they decided to close their doors.
City Officials say they will have many different programs at the historic Avalon Theater in the future. They also say they may buy the Cinema's projectors to play movies for kids.
