Just days after winning her election, incoming State Representative Laura Bradford is making strides within the Republican Party leadership at the State Capitol.
Friday it was announced that Bradford will serve as the Ranking Republican member of the House Local Government Committee.
She will also serve as a member of the Business Affairs and Labor Committee.
House Minority Leader Mike May says "Laura is clearly a born leader and has earned her place on our leadership team. Just as the Chamber and the businesses in her area know, she will be a strong and effective advocate for Mesa County."
Bradford will be sworn into office on January 7, 2009.
