Safeway Pharmacies Offer Free Diabetic Monitors
November is National Diabetes Month and Colorado Safeway pharmacies are teaming up with Abbott to do their part.
Safeway pharmacies across Colorado are giving away free Abbott diabetic blood glucose monitors all month. The monitor is available without a prescription, though a prescription is required for test strips which Safeway has made available at a discount through Abbott.
The small hand held meter is valued at $75 and allows patients to test and measure their glucose levels.
