Two new billboards along I-70 are turning heads.
One billboard says "where the deer and the antelope played" and has a picture of a deer and rigs; the second billboard has a picture of a cowboy with questions asking "home, home on the range?"
Both have been put up near the Fruita exit on I-70. There are four groups behind the boards; The Grand Valley Citizens Alliance, Physicians for Social Responsibility, Back Country Hunters and Anglers, and Taxpayers for Common Sense.
They say they want people to be aware of the environmental impacts of drilling and say some of those issues have been ignored.
The groups have put up several billboards throughout the state from Grand Junction to Weld County and between Pueblo and Denver.
