More than 70 volunteers from the Salvation Army helped cook and serve Thanksgiving meals for close to 600 people. Around 200 donated turkeys were prepared for the event, the dinner was held at the Elks Lodge downtown. The Salvation Army says it couldn't have been a success without the support of their sponsors and the community.
