While some people were busy eating turkey at home others were sitting down to meals at a local restaurant.
Ihop, Golden Corral and the Dragon Wall all served up turkey dinners to hungry patrons. Other restaurants that were open; Grand International Buffet, 626 on Rood were open serving only their regular menus.
People 11 News spoke with had a variety of reasons for going out instead of staying in this Thanksgiving, but the one heard most was that people just wanted a relaxing holiday.
