Toys For Tots of Montrose Needs Your Help
This time of year is known to many as the season of giving -- and Toys for Tots hopes that will stay true this year, as it tries to make sure every child on the Western slope has a happy holiday.
Toys for Tots of Montrose is holding its 2008 toy drive kickoff Friday. Officials are asking residents to swing by the JC Penney's parking lot and help them stuff a bus with new, unwrapped toys. The event runs from 9:00am - 3:00pm Friday.
Residents not able to donate Friday will still have their chance. Toys for Tots of Montrose will be collecting toys from December 2 through December 16 at the following locations across the city:
-Flower Motors, Inc.
-Montrose Chamber of Commerce
-Jovis Coffee
-Montrose City Hall
-JC Penney
-Dollar Tree
-Wal-Mart
-A Storage Place
-Black Canyon Gymnastics
-Coffee Trader
-Montrose County Sheriff's Office
You can also make monetary donations. Officials say you can send check or money orders to:

Cash donations are accepted in Marine Toys for Tots red canisters at Montrose City Hall, the Montrose Chamber of Commerce, and the UPS store.
