Post offices across the county are gearing up for their busiest time of year including the ones here in Mesa County.
The holiday mailing season is already upon us and the first mailing deadlines are quickly approaching. Holiday mail being sent to troops that are in Afghanistan and Iraq needs to be mailed by Thursday the 4th.
Mail going to other oversees military locations should be sent by December 11th. Other international mail should be by then as well -unless you plan to send it Express -in which case that needs to be out by the 19th.
Regular mail within the United States should be sent by the 20th and the final day is the 23rd using Express.
